Position: Embedded Security Development Engineer Level II - Embedded Firmware, Applications, and Hardware
Location: San Jose, CA
Other: U.S. Citizenship

Job Description
  • Team member contributing to embedded firmware development, and low level application/test program development on Windows and/or Linux platforms.
  • Hardware design experience.
  • Be involved in all phases of product development from initial product requirements definition through final product test and release to manufacturing.
  • Assist customer support in resolving support issues.
  • Participate in customer requirements meetings.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, as required.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 Years experience in embedded development.
  • Experience with C and assembler on 8-bit 8051 and 32-bit RISC ARM processors.
  • Experience with C++, using object-oriented design and development.
  • Experience with security processors.
  • Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally.
  • Familiarity with cryptographic algorithms and protocols.
Additional Preferred Experience
  • Digital design experience, including logic and FPGA design, a plus.
  • Working knowledge of smart cards or security processors.
  • Familiarity with ASN.1.
  • Experience with FIPS 140-1, -2 and/or Common Criteria.
  • Low level device driver development.
