End-of-Life Announcement for SPYRUS SCSI PCMCIA Readers

SAN JOSE, Calif.—December 1, 2006—SPYRUS®, Inc. (www.spyrus.com) is notifying customers that it will discontinue production and sales of its RD400 (internal) and RD300 (external) SCSI PCMCIA card readers.



SPYRUS may manufacture new units to fill any orders by one or more customers cumulatively totaling 500 or more readers that are placed with SPYRUS no later than December 15, 2006. There is a manufacturing lead-time of up to 16 weeks on these special orders, if approved. All such orders, if approved by SPYRUS, shall be non-cancelable by the customer.
