LYNKS Series II HSMs and FORTEZZA Crypto Cards
LYNKS Series II Hardware Security Modules (HSM) enable security-critical capabilities such as system authentication, message privacy, message integrity, and tamper-evident hardware-based storage. LYNKS Series II HSMs provide high-assurance communications within the PKI hierarchy, including Microsoft Windows 2000 and Server 2003 CAs.
LYNKS Series II HSMs area available in both PCMCIA and USB versions. The USB version does not require a reader, and its design facilitates stacking multiple cards.
LYNKS Series II HSMs, in combination with Rosetta CSI software, support standard Microsoft Windows operating systems and applications. The SPYRUS SPEX/2® software development kit assists development of crypto-aware applications for LYNKS Series II HSMs and FORTEZZA cards.
FORTEZZA Series II Crypto Cards are HSM-based security devices for the U.S. Defense Message System (DMS). SPYRUS pioneered the use of the FORTEZZA Crypto Card in the U.S. Government, providing over 300,000 FORTEZZA Crypto Cards or LYNKS HSMs since their introduction in 1993. The Jumbo FORTEZZA card adds support for up to 128 certificate slots.
