Secure Pocket Drive
Secure Pocket Drive (SPD) from SPYRUS securely boots Windows Embedded Standard 7 optimized for performance and security or a Linux environment containing your applications and data files. When you're done, remove the drive and leave nothing behind.
Secure Pocket Drive is available in three editions:
- Remote Access EditionRead-only device designed for secure web browsing and web email access, does not persistently store data on the SPD. Users cannot save toolbars, plug-ins, Active-X controls, or files. Can be optionally configured with a VPN and remote access "thin" client. Great for travelers using unprotected wireless connections.
- Productivity EditionSupports installation of applications such as Microsoft Office and persistently stores data on the device. Users can create and save files to the Documents and Settings folder on the SPD or to an external device such as a PocketVault USB encryption drive. Access and modify files without sacrificing security or portability.
- Productivity RO EditionRead-only version of the Productivity Edition, Productivity RO can be preloaded with Microsoft Office, but users can save files only on an external storage device such as a PocketVault USB encryption drive. The perfect combination of security and flexibility.

Competing drives use a virtualized environment that requires two operating systems and leads to additional overhead and a larger attack surface. Their approach is noticeably slower and could be less secure. |
